I'm really looking forward to meeting you in-person at The Bunkhouse, Dunoon (opposite Black's Bakers/Cafe) for another Death Cafe.
The first week in May is Demystifying Death Week in Scotland so this is the perfect time to hold another Death Cafe.
It will follow the principles as set out by the Death Cafe 'social franchise' which defines a death cafe as follows:
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.
Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.
A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
So buy your tea and cake from a local cafe (or bring with you) and join me in The Bunkhouse for this gathering and let's talk about 'all things death' :)
Date: Wednesday 6th May
Time: 2pm-3pm
